I obviously speak English, but I can also speak Spanish pretty well. I can understand a little of a few other languages, but really, I only speak 2 languages. What about you?

Yes my goal is an interpreter or a facilitator. I have a few deaf friends and I would love to be able to have full conversations with them instead of simple ones it must be like baby talk to them.

I can read, write and speak only 4 languages namely English, Urdu, Panjabi and French. English and Urdu has been my academic languages since childhood. Urdu is also my mother toungue and is understood and spoken by more than 250 million people around the world people, mainly in sub continent. Punjabi is a local language of sub continent from where, i basically belong. @ years ago i came to Frace for studies and can very well communicate in french. More over there are two languages Arabic and persian which i can easily read and understand fairly good but can't speak.

I can only speak English. When I was in high school a couple of years ago, it was required that we learn Spanish. At that time, I could speak a tiny amount of it, and I could barely read it, if it were something short and simple. I couldn't watch a movie in Spanish with no subtitles though. By now though, I've forgotten most of what I learned.

I can speak english, malay, cantonese, chinese and little bit of japaneses. It is very common for asian to be multilingual especially those from malaysia , singapore and those near by country. Although I am australian citizen but I am glad that I growth up in Malaysia. There best way to learn a language is to practice it and speak it daily with people and before you know it you can speak it as well.
