I think i was smarter in highschool acedemic wise, cause now i feel redundantly insipid at times. Its just not fair when you are always feeling less than yourself you know, its just sometimes that I think back what if i had paid attetion in class.

Not necessarily smarter. But I will say the right word is "wiser". As time goes by, we will experience a lot of things we never see before. We will become matured. And that will make us more wise in all our decisions.

I agree. Intelligence is not the same thing as wisdom. We may have forgotten some of our high school knowledge (where is Hawaii on the map, anyway?) but we have gained wisdom from life experience.

I was able to retain knowledge better when I was younger. I have forgotten a lot of the things that I learned in school.

Definitely smarter, more educated, more experienced. I would be ashamed of myself if I had not progressed and just stayed the same. To get on in life you cannot stay in the same rut.

Of course, I am much smarter now. Way back in high school, I was immature, careless, and naive. I was just an average student although I excelled in some subjects and in co-curricular activities, just like in college. But now that I am a professional and is a family woman, I am far wiser, more mature, more responsible. I can say that people improve for the better as they grow older. . .
