What do you think is the ideal number of children a family should have now a days?

I think that the most ideal amount of children i've seen lately is about three of four, people are just having less children in our age. I know my parents had lots of brothers and sisters, its just unreal how women used to have like ten children. I wouldn't dream of having near so many, if i had alot my max would be 5. I don't think i'd have them all close together either, it would be tough having that many.

I want to have two babies.too many maybe I can not afford, because raising a child needs so much cost, our burden will be too heavy if we have too many children;but if only one,I am afraid that the child will feel lonly, and he will not know some value feeling, such as brother-hood,and other relatives respect,so I think maybe two is right.

I would have to say 2 kids is a good number especially if you end up with one of each but personally i have one and that's fine for me i got what i wanted the first time (a boy) And i have a niece to spoil too so i'm content!
