Saddam Hussein was a evil brutal man! The people of his country feared for their lives. If Saddam Hussein had been running our country would we have wanted another country to come to our rescue?

if we can say that every citizen in our country don't like him as our leader, i would say we don't even need other countries to intervene. well, it's proven before, here in the philippines. we had our people power revolution against a tyrrant leader... but many of our elders say that life is much better during the marcos regime... i might agree with that

Dex, I can't help but wonder if your leader had an army of followers as Hussein had. Enough followers that maybe the people didn't feel they had enough power to over rule the leadership of the country. I dont' think that was the case in the phillippines. The majority were the good people of your country so it was easier for them to overthrow the leadership. No so in Irag from what I understand. Evil ruled in Irag! I am just curious if we has a people felt helpless to our leaders in such a way; would of we hoped for someone to change things? Maybe we wouldn't of thought about another country coming in and doing it. But if they did would we be grateful?

well at some point, as said in our history books, the military here actually followed that former leader. i must admit that our case is very much different than that of iraq. if the country willing to help you overthrow you tyrant leader will do it peacefully and not thru war, then i think that country you must thank...
