I agree with naty. It is a tough choice. I mean a woman's gotta eat and dinner out is better than anything I can cook up in my kitchen. Of course when eating out I tend to pig out, and I don't need that. But you didn't say whether that free dinner was in a restaurant or you were going to cook. LOL! Unlike some people, I will not read a book more than once. There are too many books waiting to be read to waste time reading another one twice or more. So I read the book and put it on my crowded bookshelf, provided it's a book I am interested in reading. So, let's compromise. We'll meet for dinner and read the book together. :o)

That depends. Can you cook and what are you cooking? :)

If I get to choose the book, then I'd take the book. If it's a best seller that I'm not interested in reading then I'd take the dinner and spend it with my husband.

if it is a new friend or someone i haven't seen for quite sometime, i'd like the dinner which will be spent with that person. but if that person is someone that i can easily communicate and meet up with, i'd prefer the book. i can keep the book and will treasure it as a gift from a friend.

It depends on book, you know. Tastes are different. Even the best selling books are sometimes just a trash in my opinion, and my shelf space is limited LOL! But if it's a good book of course I decide for a book.

It depends - if its a book iw ant to read then id prefer the book. Coz the dinner will be over in a couple hours but the effect of the book would last.

I would go for the free dinner LOL I can always borrow the best seller book at the library and take it out as many times as I want if I wanted to read it over and over again - most times I read a book just once and then it gets shelved or returned to the library!
