how would you describe your father?

my father is a meek person. he is shy, laid back and very patient and understanding. but mind you, he is very smat once he starts talking. he's also a wide reader and he likes to crack jokes with us. he is reserved and keeps his problems to himself. i love my father very much and i think this post would be a great opportunity for us to praise and acknowledge the goodness of our fathers. :)

My dad has always been a very strong influence in my life. I always wanted to be like him and where ever he went (when I was young) I wanted to be there, fishing, hunting, didn't matter. He's very smart, and has taught himself for the most part. He's always been there for me, no matter what. And when I became a wildland fire fighter, he was my biggest fan! He's loving, caring, has a great sense of humor, which I inherited from him! lol He has always loved reading, and I think I got my love for reading from him, and he's a great cook, his pancakes are the best! I know live 1600 miles away, but I know I'll always be his little girl, I was the youngest of 2 girls. I'll be heading back down South at the end of May .... for my youngest's graduation and my dad's 75th birthday!

My father is very protective in us, we are three girls, he once tell us that if he see us with a guy, or if we arrived home pregnant, he will hang us in a tree or shave our hair like a baby. She discipline us too when it comes in household chores like washing the dishes and doin the laundry. But now i understand why he did that, its for our own good. My father is such a good person for me and i love him very much because he always thinks what is good for us.

my father is a jolly type of person..he makes jokes a lot and is really kind...he cares a lot for his family and is very responsible and hardworking...he is smart too and for me he is my idol since he can really relate well with people of different types...
