... do you wait around (and keep refreshing the page) to see if you have any responses yet? or you go about other pages and come back after a while?

I don't start to many discussions, but when I do I usually jump back and fourth between discussions. I try to leave a comment for my responses, but sometimes I get a bit slack and don't.

Yeah, sometimes it gets too difficult to leave a comment for every single response when tons of people are responding!

Ok so basically, you move on to other pages and then come back at intervals. Sometimes, I get tempted to stay on that page and keep refreshing it... and you are right, at times one gets too lazy to leave comments.

My email is always open when i post or answer in mylot. so when someone answers to my discussions I know it and I use the link in the email and see who responded the discussion. This is great facility that mylot provided.

Haha guilty! Lol I Do this all the time. Sometimes if I leave the computer area I will keep it on my homepage screen and then when I come back I'll refresh it to see if anyone has responded. It is very exciting to me when people respond to my discussions, as it apparently is for many others too lol. I'm not embarrassed of this lol, since I see I'm not the only one! It's just part of being a mylot member!

I never do that I alway go on to something else for at least an hour and then I come back to see what has been posted. I aslo wait a while before I pick the best response. I think that is important becouse you never know if some one with a great response is a work and If you just wait a while then you will have the one that means the most to you.

Yeah... on the best response aspect, I totally agree with you, but there are some responses you see that you can't help but mark them the best.
