Aha, I finally found your felting thread. See, you were just ahead of your time. Felting is really an old artform so I'm surprised so few people have heard of it. They've certainly experienced it if they ever threw an expensive wool sweater in a dryer and ended up with a doll sweater.

Too true! Its had a bit of a revival in recent years though, so more people are trying it out. I'm sure the old mongolian feltmakers must be having a good giggle about all the 'modern' efforts though
