how many of you believe in god?

does the only feeling which makes you believe in god is because that your parents said so.or u have your own faith towards god.

I have a belief in god not because of parents, but because of The holy book written millions of years ago. Then again there are people who don't have a belief in god, but belief in their feelings,other people that are born to bring beauty in the world, etc.

i agree with you that most people have belief in god because of holy books. i wanted to know have you come across any such incidence in life where your belief in god has become more stronger than before.
