how many hours do you sleep at night?

some people dont sleep more than 5 hours, others need nearly 12 hours to be totally fit. how many hours do you sleep at night? do you also sometimes sleep at day, for example after lunch?

Typically, I'm at my best and must functional when I get 6 1/2 or 7 hours of sleep a night. Any more than that, I actually start feeling "slow" and "fuzzy-headed." I am usually to bed around 11:00 and up about 5:30-6:00 in the morning. It doesn't work for me to sleep during the day. If I go to sleep in the afternoon, I can't seem to completely wake up again-- and I end up feeling dizzy and sleepy for the rest of the evening... and then I go to bed at night, and become WIDE awake at 3:00 in the morning.

I don't get the 8 hours most people say is the standard when you are getting sleep at night... I probably get something around 5 or 6... I work during the day, and I also have another job that keeps me busy during the night, plus online school... it's a bit of a hectic schedule. I do take naps in the middle of the day, it seems to give me a little extra energy.

hi I used to sleep 8 hours a niht before i joined mylot, but now, i practically log in to mylot every night and my sleep time had been sacrifice! Now i sleep about 6 hours before i got up to prepare for work. Luckily, I do not feel sleepy during the day, especially after lunch. Even during weekends or public holidays where I don't have to work, I still woke up at about 7am as it is already a habit.

I sleep for atleast 7 hours a day.I sleep for 10 hours on saturdays and sundays because I dont have any other better work.I don't sleep at afternoons because I dont get sleep at night as I used to get everyday.I think everyone should rest for a minimum of 5 hours.

I never seem to get enough sleep. I can't seem to stay asleep for more than 5 or 6 hours, but it's not enough. I always feel tired during the day. I probably need at least 8-10 hours of sleep, but my body just doesn't seem to want to.
