I use a yonex nanospeed 6000. I find it good for smashing shuttles. I learned it's not the top of the line anymore.

Yonex nanospeed 6000 is a very professional racket. I like it, but do not have one yet.

Yonex is good, and suitable to asian, same for Victor. In Europe, they love Carlton or Oliver, that is designed for them.

7 years? you must be a good player now. I only play badminton seriously for about one and half year, what I did before was just for fun.

I'm currently using Yang Yang racket. I like the racket very much. It's still in good shape since I bought it 3 years ago.

Mine is Yonex too. I think that's the best, but it still depends on the strings too.

Hello windhair, For playing badminton I am using a Wilson Titanium Power. It is a carbon graphite racquet with an aluminum head. Excellent for a beginner or just for plain recreational racquet. It is Lightweight, durable and with fused titanium inner t-joint. I am greatly impressed by its performance. Despite it's incredible light weight, it packs a powerful punch with extreme accuracy. Don't be fooled by its low price, it's a great buy. Here some more info about the Wilsons Badminton racquet: Wilson's new IsoGrid technology gives this frame strength and exceptional stability. The stiff frame will add power and consistency to your game. The racket is balanced toward the head to give more power to your smash and clears! Hyper Carbon(R) construction makes this racquet as light as a feather but as strong and powerful as a prized fighter. Hammer Design delivers a racquet with explosive power. Iso-Zorb(tm) grommets dampen any vibration. Racquet is strung with Wilson Sensation Braid badminton string. Have a nice weekend :-)

I started playing with crappy and cheap rackets :p I think for beginners, any racket will do, as you develop your own style and discover what your strength are in badminton, then you can choose your racket I say this because some rackets are heavy and some are light, so if you are just starting and you buy the wrong racket, it would not be good for your development or enjoyment so i think rackets like Yonex is not for beginners
