indians should be grateful that an American star like Richard Gere shows interests in indian women.
You people should be grateful that he likes your women, BUT instead you want to prosecute him!!!
Indian society should feel honored that Richard Gere he even likes indian women.
Personally, I don't even know what Richard Gere even sees in indian women.
So, my question is this:
What is wrong with you people??

May be in ur country, u guys allow that . may be that's ur culture.have more than ten boyfriends may be ur culture. but we INDIANS t not like that. if he likes Indian woman, he should purpose the right way, not like that.he was guest , so he should act like a guest..and respect the Indian culture and restrictions.Its not a great what he did. I know INDIAN women r beautiful, but that's not the right way to honour that.and if u don't think that , u should go to India and see the beauty of India. Its not just the outer beauty , they r beautiful from inside too. u don't have a right to say that.If any stranger come to house and do something wrong with daughter, what u gonna say in that case? u must be so happy? but we r not like . so think first before u say something. if he is a big star he is in his country, for India he was just a guest. that was ur culture not ours. and he should respect that.

Not only should he be arrested but he should face the maximum penalty possible. As a visitor to a foreign country he should respect their laws. As someone that is privileged he should set a good example by obeying those laws, when, as is here the case, he does not the penalty should be all the more severe.
