Recently I read about a news item that multi levwel marketing is gaining popularity in India, and world over. What could be the reason people are thinking seriously about it?

First we need excellent products, then good sponsoring which means taking care of people in the network and a company with a good compensation plan. There is one great network idea in my profile.!:o) Helps us keep healthy.. www.gnld.com I hope it will come to India soon!

I think thru MLM we can earn money easily. Its a marketing done in groups, helping each other and earning together. An important part is that we can get a leverage income too from this marketing.

MLM is already a very popular marketing/distribution method all over the world. However, it is just like any other business there are a lot who succeeded and likewise who failed in this industry -- there is never a surefire formula to gain good riches in MLM. I think there are a lot of reasons why MLM is gaining a worldwide popularity -- foremost of which is the chance to gain a good income while having no big capital. MLM is using OPM (other people's money) and OPE (other people's effort) to get the dreamed residual income everybody is craving for. Now, there are also who join because of the products and the benefits they could get out of it plus the fact that wholesale pricing is available for joining members. As in any other industry, there are some negative as well as positive. If you join the MLM bondwagon, you have to know those things.

Multi-level marketing imn itself is not a good or bad product distribution system in itself. However, it is always hyped to the point of making it as a great miracle. For pushing products, it worked. For making some millionares, it worked. But remember that in MLM majority of the participants are only there to take advantage of product discounts and they don't earn that much. But for those who got the energy and talent to build people, MLM is a good vehicle. And that's where the attraction is: residual income which is the potential of getting income from the effort made today thru the efforts of others down the lines. I have nothing againts MLM for as long as distributors are told what are the sacrifices and rewards involved, as long as the products' pricing and compensation scheme are fair.
