Mobile phones are used for immediate response from any person, as far as a student concerned no such responsibility exists. Secondly, mobile phones will disturb the rhythmic standards, as student life is always go in comparative nature so one can afford and other may not it develops the psychological disturbances among them Simply as question like " Why Uniform is required in Schools " - the same inner meaning exists in the question - mobile phone requirement for student.

I think it is okay if the student will be allowed to used their mobile phones inside the classroom. That is "If" they knew all the Do's and Dont's. Meaning they should not used their mobile phone when they are having their class discussion, lectures and etc... they should also put their mobile phones on a silent mode so that no one get disturbed inside the class.

yes they should be allowed because it's no harm...just put it on silent mode in order not to disturb anybody...but in some situations a mobile phone can distract atention from learning so that's a bad thing:D

I think that yes they should be allowed with some rules put in place so that they are not used for any occasion they're is a lot that goes on in the school and sometimes if a student could have called 911 because they are there without having to go find an adult(teacher or adminstrator)who in turns tries to find out what is going on before preceeding to call the police could be the difference in peoples lives phones were not allowed in school down in Alabama after Columbine but we made sure my cousin had one that she kept so that she would be able to call if they were any problems maybe we shouldn't have but I rather have adminstrators down my back than having to bury someone who's life hasn't even began.
