I am reading The Book of Lost Things.

so far, very good. in some ways it reminds me a bit of the flim, Pans Labyrinth, and also in some ways of The Company of Wolves. I just love a fairytale when it's done right. they're meant to be dark and twisted and Grim(m) what do you think?

I was going to mention Inkheart, but I see I was beaten to it. I liked The Book of Lost Things, but not as much as the Inkheart trilogy. The Book of Lost Things was just too elegaic. Too sad. I don't see how they can make it into a trilogy. You might also like "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It's another book about a book.

ooh, good to have some tips for things to check out. I'm always on the lookout for more books to read. I've got my eye on one called The Lost Child, which is, I think inspired by the poem. it's about someone that it turns out is a changeling. the one left behind when the fairies take a child away. it sounded good.

I read The Book Of Lost Things a few months ago...and yes loved it...I understand it's going to be a trilogy so of course I can't wait for the next one to come out...Nowadays it seems most of the books I read are children's or young adult--ever read the Inkheart series?? Think you'd like that too
