anyone else a little annoyed when they took Dark Angel off the air??
if you watched the special features on the DVD's then you would know they were all ready for a 3rd season ready to film any everything, then the cast and crew finds out from a press confrence that they're not on the new lineup and thats when it was dropped on them that they were cancelled. i was pretty upset. FOX cancelled A LOT of series that barely got started and they never got a chance. some examples...
Birds of Prey
Point Pleasent
and where the hell did Justice go???
and there were a lot of other ones that only lasted for 1 season, or sometimes not even one...i mean, i remember a reality show about the Fake Boss thing and they never even finished the damn think. i was waiting for the new shows so i could at least see the ending...but no...man...

Yes, I'm still ticked about it and it sucks a big greasy stink-hole!
I'm really ticked at James Cameron though.. why couldn't he have made a movie to conclude the story at least? Or why didn't the WB pick it up just like they picked up Buffy?
Did you read the books that followed?
My best friend said there are comics now.. I'm hoping it concludes the story! That was my all time favorite show!

I haven't seen the DVD, but it seems like I heard back then that there were all kinds of problems between the creator of the show(I can't think of his name at the moment, he did titanic right) and the network and that was why it was cancelled. Anyway it seemed to me they had kind of backed themselves into a corner on the last episode and it didn't look to me like there was any kind of believable way out.

the name of the creator was James Cameron, he actually directed the last episode. They had actually written and signed on for the next season, then FOX just suddenly took them off the lineup. The ending of the 2nd season was actually a great ending, it was a set up for an all out war against the 2 'races' so to say. it would have made a great season i think.

I know I truly hate it when shows on tv get cancelled. This is why I don't watch tv shows. i only watch dvds. I have tv shows but their on dvd. I have taught my son this appreciation since he was a baby. now he's 3 and he loves dvd watching. I limit him 3 movies or less a day. Anyways I love the show dark angel and hope one day to buy the first season. Your right though they should have continued the show, they did cut it short. I wonder how many Dark Angel fans in the world really watched it. I don't know if Tv stations keep shows on based on how many viewers. that is something I heard years ago when I used to watch tv stations.
