when you're stressed out and depressed what do you do?

you do something to boost up yourself?, like having a new haircut?, getting your nails done? or spending your time at spa? do you eat a lot? what do you do to relive stress and depression? well for me, i like having a new haircut, spending time at spa and have my nails done. i eat lots of food when i am streesed out or depressed.

when i get depressed, i need to change my hair color,perm,hilights. I do this every year but the timing of this is when I feel very depressed. I love having my nails done but cant afford to keep it up every 2 weeks.

usually when i'm stressed out and depressed, i like to spend time at the spa too! and go for a retail therapy session or just go out. i can't stand being on my own with nothing to do it, it makes me even more depressed! unfortunately, i don't eat lots of food when i'm depressed..when i'm depressed, it seems to take my appetite away too.. T_T

when i am stressed out i want to go out at nights and drink with my friends and if i am depressed i just need to be alone and clear my head, i do not want anybody's head inside mine. i just lay down in my bed and meditate, at times in prayer.

I listen to soft music and take a bubble bath. I turn off the phone and shut the blinds. I don't answer the door if anyone knocks. This is my time to relax and destress myself. My music I listen to with my head phones so all other noises I don't hear. Only after I feel refreshed do I get out of the tub.

Doing something to boost yourself up is an excellent way to handle stress and depression. It is much better than eating a lot. I like to go out with my friends and sing karaoke when I get depressed or stessed. If anything is going to help me, it will be music!
