taking a certain course is not because it's the trend right now...you should have taken the course because it's what you really wanted or what your heart dictates. any course will do as long as you know that you're good at it. yes english is really important but i guess you can learn how to be good at it in many ways not only by focusing yourself too much on it. there are a lot of things need to be learn aside from english thought it's a step in going to success. maybe you just need to be patient and hardworking to be good in anything you want to do in life.

I took IT not because I am good at this field but because most of my friends enrolled themselves in it and it was also the trend during our time. But now, I really regret having taken this course for I realized that there aren't opportunities for IT graduates, not unless you're really good at it. If only I knew, i should have taken Education or Nursing instead.

that's the moral lesson....you should have take the course where you're good at it or what you really wanted and not taking a certain course because most of your friends are also taking it or because it's the trend. you should listen to your heart. it doesn't matter what course you've taken as long as you wanted it or you're good at it. well, to regret is really always in the end. good luck anyway....

I'm a nursing graduate, practiced my profession for about 2 years but that's it. I worked in an IT and everything seemed perfect for me. I actually liked the whole office setting, haha! Its far way different from hospital setting so that's it. Been 12 years and i'm into my small business now but one day i know, i'll still practice my profession abroad. (",)

well, there are really lot of people doing jobs which is entirely different/opposite to the degree that they have graduated. but it dont really matter as long as you are good at it and excel in that area.

at first i took up liberal arts and pursued it with a major in english. next, i got myself into civil engineering and pursued it until i got my license. now, i am still not so happy about having been an engineer. i did well in school, had achievements in flying colors. but my love is with the medical field and until now, i have not grown out of it.
