Hello people i have this BIG problem with a SMALL or rather YOUNG boy! My neighbour is 15 years and i help her out sometimes in her studies and her classmates join her as well and one of the boys developed a major crush on me. In begining i laughed it off and treated him like the kid he was. But now things are getting bad he got me flowers from his garden a few times and i accepted them but later he started buying gifts like chocolate, key chains etc which i refused point blank! Now guddi my neighbor tells me that he is really upset that i dont 'care' for him and its affecting his studies as well. He barely scrapped through his 9th std finals and thi June he will be starting his 10th which is a very important year in any school child's life...i really dont know how i should handle him...any suggestions will be appreciated

I don't know hoe you can solve this problem. Even I faced this problem when I was a kid. I completed my schooling and graduation from same institute and I was very popular among my fellow students. I used to play cricket whole day and was captain plus coach of my college team. There was a cute girl from 9th standard who used to come and watch me playing all the time. Everyday I used to give her a choclate or wished her to give me best of luck always before playing a match. Suddenly one day she expressed herself and I was shocked. Then I took help of my girlfriend ( now wife lolz) and she scared her. I'm very happy that I got rid of her on right time and didn't spolied her life too.

Hey Ano,nice to see you.:)I know this is a very delicate thing to handle.Just try to remember how you got over YOUR crush and then take any step.Any harsh measure can break the young fellow's heart.
Well whenver it has happened with me,I first of all try to avoid being alone with the concerned person, mainly for the reason that he should not get enough chance to speak his mind.
Then you try talking about some neutral and interesting incident if you can't help it.
People having crush want the other person's affection and attention. They do not necessarily mean any harm.If you can, then see to it that the frequency of your meetings reduces by and by.Gradually this feeling will wear off,as it usually happens in all the cases.Be patient, careful and mature.
That's all I can think now to help you deal with the situation.Good Luck.:-)
