In the late years, Mark Twain was so pessimitic. He said "Life is but a dream". People are fatalized. Do you think life is but a dream, or what is your interpretation of what Mark.Twain said.

There are times when you think of it Life is indeed just a dream. Everything is just fleeting and moving away. In life, there is never a permanency except changes. At the end of everything, everything will be gone. Those who are gone ahead just form a part of the memories -- just dreams of the past. Whatever may happen in the future -- just dreams of the coming days. Isn't it true life is just a dream? He got really good points if you will take a serious look at life. What is life anyway?

To some extent, I agree with what you said.No matter how sad a life we lead, or how happy life we live, at last, everything will be gone. Love , sorrow, happiness, tears, whatever, all will be gone. Our life is so short. It will fleed away, even we do not have time to recollect what were happening around us.

Hello, shenzhouuplaza,I think we should have dreams in our lide so that we will have motivations to get the goals or to fulfill the dreams. With the dreams, we will not give up in the hard time, if we do not have dreams,we will get lost and give up half way through.

you are optimistic about life,so you have a beautiful dream.Pessimistic people like Mark.Twain has a pessimistic dream. What kind of dream people will have depends on what kind of attitude people have to life. When I write here.Martin.Luther King's voice comes into my mind. " I had a dream, My four little children......" I wish you can realize all your dreams.
