African women especially engage in craft making and the tourists who visit my country like our crafts. They like the baskets, the door mats, papyrus mats and huts etc. Which is your favourite craft?

I LOVE handicrafts. I appreciate the creativity, culture, time and effort those creative people put in, to create one of a kind masterpiece. I tip my hat to them because i'm myself not talented in this area. So, most of the time, when i travel, i will go to small shops and hunt for the most unique and creative handicrafts i can find. The latest that i bought was bird cages, kites, photo albums, sandals, plates, salt and pepper shakers, etc.. from the beautiful island of bali. Africa is on my list of 'must go' countries as well. When i get there, i'll definitely go hunting for the best handicrafts the locals are known for. Where do you suggest i start? What do you suggest i get? - Lyn
