How jokes are made up in the minds of the people? Do they really mean? Or are they just half meant?

i have often felt that jokes are used to say things that people are often ashamed to say. I have heard racist jokes and jokes about disabled people being passed off as just a joke, but they allow the bigots a chance to express their evil thoughts blessed be

My mother always taught me that there is alot of truth in a joke. So be mindful of what you say. We can be very hurtful in using words and so care must be taken to communicate effectively. Good luck with this.

they say that there is a certain element of truth in every joke. Many people will say something nasty about a person and say hey it is just a joke, I don't think that is funny at all when they do that.

Jokes are half meant true. Atleast that's what I have learned in Psychology. Sigmund Freud saya that jokes can be a basis of what or how people think.
