Question for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ

Recently, I filled out a survey bulletin on Myspace. One of the questions was if you could bring anyone from the past to the present, who would it be, and why? Now, just to try to keep this simple, I chose Jesus Christ. And what I wanted to know is "Am I saved?" I've done my fair share of bad stuff over the years, and I've hoped I've been able to overall do better by helping out those in need, and trying to do what I think I should. I was just thinking about a book by Piers Anthony: A Spell for Chameleon. The main hero asks a monster what his Question for the Magician was. "Do I Have a soul?" His answer was "...those that have a soul will be concerned as to if they have one." Your thoughts. And please, let's keep this flame-free and respectful.
