Am I the only one who misses Sanjaya?

Let me start by saying that I've been watching American Idol since Dunkleman was on it. Granted Sanjaya was not the best singer, but the anticipation of seeing who was going to get kicked off instead of him made the show pretty interesting. Now it seems boring, although I still want Jordin to win anyway.

NO, u're NOT the only 1 who misses Sanjaya. I agree, that the show is BORING, and anti-climactic now. Regardless of Sanjaya not being the best singer there, 2 me, he has the most charisma and star quality, that "it" factor, that I just don't c in ANY of the other remaining contestants. 2 be a big star, u've gotta have more going on 4 u than JUST a good voice. Music history has proven this over and over again, with countless examples of superstar artists who possess "less than stellar" vocal abilities. And, 4 all of the Sanjaya "haters", I'll bet anything that Sanjaya was still the reason why THEY tuned in every week as well!

Well, I can't say that I miss him but I do understand what you are saying. It was a little fun having him around and I enjoyed the anticipation each week. I think the last few weeks should be anything but boring. Do you think it is fun seeing Sanjaya and his sister in the audience having such a good time? I love it, that is where he belongs, making it fun for others and enjoying himself.

Sanjaya personally was a Great addition for American Idol this season. And personally, he will go far. No matter what he decides to do in life. He is from right around here where I live, and has gained a lot of notiarioty. But I heard after the tour and such he wants to move to LA and work on his career and performance more.

I miss Sanjaya terribly! You're definitely not the only one. He was the first Idol contestant I voted for regularly and I really hope I'll be able to see one of the top ten tour shows, just to see him! He's also the first contestant whose CD I would actually go out and buy. On a show like Idol, it really *doesn't* matter if you're the very best singer, a lot of it depends on personality and charm! Sanjaya was definitely the most interesting contestant so far, and right now I don't really care who wins out of the remaining three, though I do think Blake is kind of cool.
