What do you think? Was he just too much, or was he just naive & insensitive to other cultures, or maybe it was actually nothing? Exaggerated?

Are you perhaps being insensitive to American culture?
Why is it always seen as the other way round?
No big axe to grind here on my behalf, but the thought just struck me as odd.

This is something I do not understand. America is a little over 200 years old. But india has a culture over 2500 years and the union between male and female was not looked down upon. Actually books like Kamasuthra and temples devoted to such knowledge came from India. America can take tuition from India.

Well not quite right, iszo. I know what you mean and I agree with you it is a matter of good manners.
But just take for instance halal meat. In the UK we have very strict laws on the humane killing of animals for meat. First the captive bolt for stunning the animal, then cut the throat. Muslims cut the throat first and the animal suffers.
Would muslims take offence if the UK said sorry, but in the UK you must abide by our traditions and butcher your meat our way?

That is not an issue to be worried about. There are so many suh incidenst going on in movies. Is anyone bringing up any case or arrest warrant. What happened to the movie FIRE?Take the case of Jism. They are just examples. If all there obscenity is happening in India,Why make an issue when a foreigner is involved in particular?By the way, shilpa shetty is not worried. Then why others should worry?

All I have seen in the photographs are nothing more than a hug. I don't see anything bad in it. There is plenty of harassment of women going on if someone wants to focus their attention. Anyway showbiz is doing something different. A little publicity is necessary to go ahead in the arts.
