Do you post & respond to all your MyLot interests? If no, which one is left out?

Well, when we all signed up for MyLot, we added our interests through our profile page, or just clicking 'yes' when you responded to a topic and that page automatically asks you if you want it to be one of YOUR interests. So today I was looking at what I have listed as my interests and I clicked on 'making extra money.' However, I couldn't find a thing to respond to. It was all referrals, can't miss investments, and all that jazz. I realized I have never posted a topic in that interest, nor have I responded to one. So do you respond or post discussions from all your listed interests? Which ones have you listed as an interest, but never even responded to a discussion created in that area?

Hello, ambiepam,I would reply to the discussions of my friends first regardless of the interests, and I did not have enough time to find something in my interests.I will try to choose something I like from my friends, but I think I have not post and replied for all of my interests. I think I have left out cricket ,although I like it,I have never post a discussion as it seems that many members are not interested in it.

Yeah, in North America people just don't know anything about cricket. When you say 'cricket' they think of the insect.

I can honestly say no I have not responded to a discussion or created discussions in all of my interests. Some I had put in when I first joined, like some movies or tv shows, and others I've added as I go along. Some though I just can't think of a good discussion to start for it and others no one else has either I guess. There are way too many of them for me to list. Mostly older films that I have marked as ones I'm interested in. Just no one else seems to either know of them (since I'm the only member listed) or can't think of anything to write on them. Maybe I'll do that today. Go through and see if I can't think of a discussion to start under ones that have no discussios what so ever. Might be a good way to earn some points :)

It could be. : ) Now I'm all curious to what the older movies are so I'm going to go check out your movie interests. I bet I've seen some of them.

I tend to post whatever is on my mind at that given time. I have so many frieds that it keeps me busy commenting on them all so I dont have much time to check out the interests. I do not however post a comment on someones discussion if it is something that goes again what I belive in. In fact if a friend continues to post discussions that are against things that I belive in, I will delete the friend from my group. I try really hard to post quality discussions. I do not post one sentance discussions at all.

I try really hard to be honest in all my dealings. Mylot is one of those dealings. I did read the requirements before I signed up and I try to follow the guidelines as set forth by the mylot staff. I would feel like I was dishonest if I did otherwise.

To be honest, I never bothered with that section. Went there before but nothing pretty much caught my eye lol. I usually just reply from email notifications. After that, I will go to discussions from my friends, then new discussions. That's about it. Not enough time to sleep already lol. :P

No, my interests page is getting longer and longer and I should go through it and give it a good weed. There are quite a few topics i had a once of response and nothing interesting has come up again. Thanks for reminding me I need to do some housekeeping!

I just looked at all my interests and there are several that I have never posted or started a discussion in them. What I do now is simply respond to all my mylot friends discussions and maybe start one or two of my own. Then when I am finished with that I look at some of my top interests. Most of the travel interests that I put I have never posted to them.

To my discussion, I try to respond to those who have responded to my discussion. If the respond is deliberately out off subject I will just skip it or if it is similar to another earlier respond I will skip this too. Responding to others discussion, if the topic is not to my interest, I will just move. I hope that by doing so, I do not offend others

Honestly I don't really go to my interests to respond to discussions. I have been very blessed her at mylot and I have a LOT of friends so I go to the "Discussions my friends have started" part on the left hand side and I respond to all of my friends. They are the most important ones to me and I feel is the most important ones to respond to! Also my friends start a lot of discussions so it keeps me pretty busy. Good post!

I too find myself more inclined to answer friend's topics first. I realized that so I've tried to look into discussions on my interests just for a change. But really, the discussions from friends are more interesting. I guess we accept them as 'friends' for a reason! : )

I hardly ever look at my interests! By the time I get through responding to responses to my discussions, posting to my friend's discussions and looking around for one or two more interesting ones, I've already spent at least two hours, so I don't get there very often!

My favorite ones i post in a lot are life, people, mylot, earn extra money, parenting, mother and relationships. I post in a few others once in awhile but those ones are my favorites.

There's a lot of things on my interests that I've never responded to. That's because no one has the same interests as I do. When I look at my interest page, I'll see a 1 by an interest, or rather a whole lot of my interests. I decided to delete some of them, because without anyone else having the same interest, there will be no discussion, and if I start one, no one will bother to reply. I just haven't deleted anything yet. As Mylot is growing everyday, I just might find that someone else will have weird interests like me someday.

Well, if you do post a discussion on one of your interests that no one else has indicated they share, I'd like to respond. Maybe I'm interested in it and don't know it! : )

Ok, I'll go through my interests and start a discussion on something. I guess it can't hurt. You're right, it might be something you would like. I'll have it sometime tomorrow.

nope.. i don't post and reply to my interest.. sometimes i post in a discussion out from my interest.. just that when i have the idea on that topic discussion.. i will post .. haha... usually i will leave that interest on books.. i think they're so boring.. maybe that doesn't interest me at all in the first place.. i accidently put it into my interest,.. and that really bugs me =_=... yeah.. i agree with you.. that making extra money interest.. most of the users post their refferal links.. there's no chance to reply also.. i don't even know what to reply.. there's no chance to agree or to oppose .. lol

LOL -- have you seen the number of interests I have on my profile?!? I could never keep up with all of them! The one that I use most often is "holy bible" under books I have read. Other than that, I post to whichever one fits what I'm wanting to talk about!

At first I fiound the interests catergory confusing. I didn't realise that we could start a discussion from there. So I created some of my interests that would correspond to my discussions. About 50% of the time I begin my discussion from my interests. The other 50% is in the genneral catergory. Well over half my interests I have never posted a discussion from. It is really not that important from what I can tell.

There are so many interest groups I have joined that I just don't have time to post questions or respond to them all. The most I usually neglect are those about TV shows. Because I just have no time to watch any of of them. How can I have any thing to say about certain episodes?

I meant the interest topic, not ever thing under the topic. Like TV shows, not every TV show you watch.

Sometimes if bored of others I will switch to those.I love my writing ones best though. I have tons and tons truly. I do the top 10 pages, and sometimes friends then I move onto lastly those in interest but never a top priority.
