ViolentAcres is an anonymous blogger. My blogging friend Peri first brought this blog to my attention. I went on over to check this post out http://www.violentacres.com/archives//25/mommybloggers-unite and I found myself going through the archives where I found two photos of two mothers daughter, photoshopped. One was to imply the little girl was mentally challenge and the other was made to look like the little girl was eating poop. What the anonymous blogger did was wrong on so many levels, but it was a further wake up call that any one of us who post photos of our children on the internet could be a victim of someone editing our children's photos and placing them on a site. Before you say this won't happen to my child, stop to think that it could happen to your child. Look at this photo http://www.violentacres.com/archives/18/duh This could very easily be your child. Please think about your children and posting their photos on the internet. God knows where your child’s photo may end up.

I'm not to familiar or comfortable with everything going on on this site, so I don't post pictures nor names. I may be paranoid, but i'm thinking that it's best to be safe than sorry. I even had a pic of my baby as my avatar, and I just decided to change it, I didn't get a good vibe from doing that. Thanks for the info, and making parents aware of this horrible issue.

I don't usually read those type of blogs nor do i pay attention the pics. I'm sure if some parent saw their kids picture portrayed in a bad way they would be mad. But most people really don't care and the ones who do care. Are not the type of people you wanna be with anyways. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure a lot of people will take offense to this. I would but guess I don't really care since I will not be looking for these types of blogs or if i accidentally stumble upon them i will delete them immediately. Anyways it is nice that you have told people about it so they can beware and not post their children's pics up anywhere. Thanks and have a great day!!!!:)

Um accuse me, but you wouldn't care if your child's photo was photo shopped and showed up on a website? I know that most parents would care and those are the parents I want to be associated with. I hope that these parents care enough to remove their child's photo from the internet.

I would care yes. I also stated that any parent who sees their child's picture in those websites would care. I said i didn't care because i don't look at those web sites. If I happened across one that showed my child's picture yes I would be mad. But when they show other peoples children pictures. Its not something I would really think about that much. I would know it was just some dumb person trying to get publicity. So I would just think its not worth my time to look at. Its also not that I don't care about other people kids. I just don't care about the person who made the site and trying to get attention from it. if you notice i said i lot more than I just don't care lol. I said thanks for Putting up the discussion for people.

I didn't understand your previous reply. It wasn't very clear what you meant. It sounded like you were saying most people wouldn't care.
