Do you have a Pet Name for your Sweetie?

Do you have a pet name for your boyfriend/girlfriend? How did you come up with this name? Do they like it or does it embarrass them when you say in public or infront of his/her friends? I call my boyfriend Papi because he is Spanish, all my friends and everybody knows this

My other half is also spanish.. I tend to call him.. Buck O Wheat.. Oh and Bertolet.. He calls me Mandy.. My name is Sandy.. He says no one else calls me that.. so he will.. drives my sister nutz.. =)

Ok this will sound weird. But, my husband and I both call one another BUB.. Odd, I know but.. It works for us. When people here it they either laugh or are like ohhh how cute you have such neat pet names. Now, how it started I have no idea. But its stuck.

Of course i have, but i use it only when we are alone.I call him Gusterche/ a bulgarian name for a little dragon/, he loves the dragons very much.He is also a Plushka or a Singing baby or the Rock Star /he is a rock musican/:-))))

i really exited in participating the discussion. my girl friend's nick name is sweety.she feels very happy when i call her by that name.
