do you give your cat(s) a bath?

I got a beautiful all white cat once that was filled with fleas! I had to give him a bath and he hated it. I had to use a leash and tie him up in the shower and he kept fighting and it was really sad and scary because he kept choking but of course he would stop eventually. But it was the worst situation ever. He was an adult. Then we got a baby kitten and it washed with shampoo and was okay with it. Now she is older and I don't know if I would give her a bath now or not.
