I don't have that problem of being force to joint any courses when i was kids.I don't think is fair to pick courses for your kids.Because it's all about what the kids interested on not parents. I agree if parents have some suggestion and directions but not forcing the kids to accept their selections..

A lot of times unless you have decided what you're wanting to Study and do with your life, your friends will often try to get you to take the courses like they are taking so you will follow in the same path they are wanting to go, never stopping to think that you might not be Good in that field, or that you would be Bored, etc. and be unhappy because you chose to do that too. You need to explain to them your Wishes, Dreams and desires and then go from there. If you make your wants known, they will end up respecting you in the process.

i was never forced to pick a certain course. i dont do that to my kids either. i would never do that to my kid. i want them to be happy and to be happy they have to think what they want to do for the rest of there life. i cant choose that for them. i can hope and i can wish but i cant make them. i have a few friends that there parents did this to. they would tell them if yu dont do this then i am not paying for your schooling. i thought it was horriable. alot of them said ok fine and went to work and got grants to help pay so that they could be what they wanted to be. parents know alot and they have good intentions but a person cant know everything. alot of parents try to live there dreams through the kids too and you cant do that..
