I recently started another degree with the open University here in the UK. Now both the kids are in School full time I have a little more time. I have decided to take it in environmental and earth sciences. Anyone else working with the open university or its equivalent?

I am not sure what an open university is. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology that I obtained in 1981. I have thought about going back someday and getting a masters or doctorate although I now have other interests such as writing, computers and alternative medicine. Could you tell me what an open university is?

I was forever going to seminars and doing courses, but now I feel that's it for me. From the age of 5 up there were school and piano exams up to about 5 years ago when I did creative writing with Cardiff uni, I was always studying for something or other. One day I suddenly thought, what am I doing? I am sure I have forgotten more than I've learned - now I am just looking within myself and funnily enough, I seem to be really getting more out that - probably because it's experiential.
Good look wth your B.Sc. :-)
