I was thinking, why is a dime worth more than a nickel? Well, what got me asking this question was the size of the two coins. The dime is smaller than the nickel, but then the dime is worth more? Its kind of weird to me. Can anyone explain this?

the dime is worth much more than a nickel because the components of the dime are more expensive than that of the nickel.
