If you are freferring to th efirst PC, IBM invented that, and it was called the 5100. If you are referring to the first electronic computer, that was invented by John Atansoff and Clifford Berry in 1939 at Iowa state University. It was just known as the Atansoff-Berry computer. Many people credit ENIAC as being the first computer, but the patent of it was rescinded because it was too similar to the Atansoff-Berry computer.
