'I have a wallet and a purse for coins in my bag, i will not put any coins in my pocket as they are too heavy and will damage the pcoket of the jeans. I will get alot of coins everyday from the changes, I have a box at home for those coins' How about you?? Do you just put the coins in your pocket?? And how do you deal with the coins you get everyday? Will you just leave them on your table or have a box to put them in?? Do share you thoughts:)

I put them in the "watch pocket" of my jeans. I've only ever had a problem with one of these not being able to hold up to the abuse - and I think the fabric wasn't a high quiality denim since I had problems with that pair of jeans anyway. Since I don't carry a wallet or a purse, I have to put the darn things some place!

Sometimes there may be holes in the pocket of the jeans when times go by if you put coins there everyday.

Thats why I use that little "watch" pocket on my jeans since its denim on both sides, its very small & holds the coins up high. I used to drop them in the pockets, but I started getting pressure pain from the coins down on my legs.

Personally, I just use the same purse for notes as I do coins. This way I can see how much money I have without having to go through two purses :) However, lots of people I know use more than one purse for this reason.

May be you can have a smaller bag then so that you can find the change easier.

These days I so rarely use cash that getting change is 'almost' a novelty .. I hate carrying around small change as it weighs me down .. if I get any change I always empty my purse out when I get home .. then every once in a while I take my hoarded coins and change them at my local post office ..

No, there is no charge .. sometimes they do ask you to bag up the coins in appropriate amounts if they are busy .. like £5 worth of coppers etc .. but my post office is nice and quiet mid afternoon .. so they mostly count it for me :o)

Last time, I used to put my coins in a piggy bank, then "upgraded" to leaving it on the table when the piggy gets too stuffed. When I got broke, these coins are precious. Nowadays, I try not to keep too much coins with me as it is heavy to carry around. Hence, I will used them up whenever applicable in place of dollar notes.

I like to use them when I'm going to a movie because it's as if I'm not spending real money, just change. LOL

yes it is my "bad habbit" to put coins into pocket...it's the shortest way when Imake shopping. Then sometimes I start check all my pockets and gather up all coins into one place. Some time ago I had such box for monets as u did. I tried to see how much of money I will get from change. Till now I sometimes put change in to pockets. and know, if in the shop i will not have some monets in wallet, i can find it in pockets:)

Will you pay the coins when you are buying something not really expensive?? like if you buy something for 5 dollars, will you try to find out all the coins to make it 5 dollars?

If i would have 5 dollars in one coin, I would not search for monets to make 5 dollars:)

I use both but honestly my purse has a hole in it and often the change hides in there. I was gonna change purses but then I found 20 dollars in the hole when i thought i was broke so now i call it my hiding hole and when i get broke i shake the @###### out of my purse and then i have money! hooray!!

I have a coin purse, but sometimes my bag is full of so much junk that I just drop them in my bag. I usually empty my bag every weekend and drop them in a jar for Christmas gift purchase.

I save my coins my pennies, nickle, dimes and quaters all in a money box also. I mean you never know when you might need them right.

I have a coin purse in my bag. Any coins I accumulate throughout the day I divide. I put half in my coin purse for the fare and the other half in my piggy bank.

I have a wallet filled with coins. If they all can't fit in then i leave them in my purse pocket. When that gets full, I transfer them to my sons piggy bank. My hubby hates carrying coins so everyday he leaves them on the counter for me to use, and if not, they get placed into my sons piggy bank.

I always keep my money in a purse. I would lose it or spend ages rummaging through pockets or my bag to find it! Very small change goes in a jar at home and saves up.

I do have separate purse for my coins and a wallet for the bill, it's very convenient. I use public transpo and it's better to have coins for fare. I place the 5 peso coins in the piggy bank.

Change is always a constant issue for me. Luckily I got a great Coach wallet for my birthday and it is a small, but very organized wallet that allows me to keep some change in the back zippered pouch. Excess change goes into a jar and when it's filled I take it to my bank's coin exchange machine (it's free to use) and I either put that money into my checking account or take it out in cash.

I don't use a wallet or a purse for coins. When I go shopping, I just take enough money with me in my pocket, and I don't keep lots of coins, either. When I get some coins, I soon use them up.
