Very annoyed with my friend!

I have this friend I go to lunch with everyday-her and 2 other girls. Anyways...lately she is just on my last nerve. Everything she does is annoying. She's very self-obsessed...she has over 100 pictures on myspace and there's not a single one that she's not in. And it's like she doesn't give a darn about anyone elses problems. Everytime I tell her something that's bothering me it doesn't seem to matter to her. All that matters to her is her. And she always has to be the center of attention. A friend of hers just had a baby, and somehow she's making it all about her. You know...Ooh look at me my friend had a baby ooh heres a picture of me with the baby! blah blah blah. Anyways...this post is more of me ranting than anything..but do you any of you have a friend that is driving you nuts?

Oh, i know how you are feeling coz i myself experience that one. There are really people who are like, who are obsessed with their selves and does not care about others. Even though, they are noticing that you are already irritated with them, they seem not to still care. And i hate it when someone is like that so what i am doing is irritating her also or just stay away from here...

wow! your friend sure is a handfull aint she? why dont you give her a piece of your mind and tell her that the world doesnt revolves around her! maybe she doesnt realize this habit of hers! its about time someone lets her know how irritating it is!
As for me Thank God i never had a friend like yours ever! i have been blessed with good friends who are very sincere to me !

a friend is someone who will be with you through thick and thin, someone you could relate to or converse with openly and discuss and share everything under the sun.someone you could just sit with and do nothing for a while.someone even if you have not seen for so many years and see each other again is like a continuance from where you left off. a friend is someone who would understand his friend in need. a friend understands all the odd side of his friend.now, i ask you, after what she has done, why are you still there?and don't you think that you are the same, being selfish wanting to get each others attention?think about it.

I know what a friend is, but thanks anyways for the definition. And I am still there because she is my friend. And I don't consider asking advice or venting...being selfish.

your response is well taken.just be open to a suggestion oppposed to what you want to hear. i know you just want a lending ear but you wrote something that triggered me to say otherwise.as a friend , i won't pretend to console you as to what you want to hear, as a friend i would like you to open your mind and weigh things because in that way you might get some answer of your own. i know you know everything that i have said . a friend, reminds you on how.

I do have a friend like this. It is like no matter what you or anyone else is going through or has been through her story is worse or more important. I have found that the best way to deal with it is to just ignore it. You will not be able to change your friend.
