Do you know any song in a foreign language that you sing but do not understand a word of what you are singing?
I used to and then someone translated and the lyrics were disturbing..

oh yes, have you ever listened to the great pavarotti or even andre bocelli, the famous blind tenor. they both sing italian songs like "o sole mio" and bocelli's number one classical song entitled "con te partido" and " time to say goodbye". maybe you are familiar with his other song with celine dion entitled "the prayer" where dion rendered the english part while andrea sang the italian part. it is a song used in an animated movie, i forgot the title.

Before my baby would want to listen to ave maria (german) to sleep so i play it. I hear it too much I started singing it unconsciously. I got curious and look for the song and its transalation. I'm glad that it's nothing bad.

Actually, I do. Someone had posted a discussion that I responded to a few days ago, asking whether we preferred our own music or the music from other countries. I told them this in my response. I have a couple of songs I sing that I have no idea what I am singing, and I probably should translate them, especially the one that I do at karaoke. I guess it is not quite so bad for the crowd I am singing to because they do not know what I am saying either, but I guess I am a bit curious too.
