Good question, there is a saying that it is not the circumstances that affect us, but the what we think of the circumstances. It is very true in many cases. We are often programmed to think negatively from childhood and it takes time and effort to change that attitude and start seeing positive things around us. There is one good idea I heard about - you can take a stone or anything else you like and put it on a place where you see it every day. When you see it, think of something you are greatful of. You will soon find out that there are lots of things that are good in your life, you have just not come to think of them before. This simple method can help us change our thougts and make them positive. We can then set up a goal - what we want to do in our life, and use the positive thinking to reach that goal.
