Hurtler at the top of his jump. - I have been trying for years to catch a hurtler at the top of the jump and get the face. Since I make money by selling the photos to people they want the action and to see their child. To me this is an almost perfect picture you see the action and the expression on his face. I was lucky with this track because the home stretch of this track i had the sun light off to the side and it was a slightly overcast day so I had no harsh light to deal with.
The best place to take good pictures is anywhere and everywhere. You never know when the opportunity will make appear. I have attened many sporting events and get many good photos but every so often I get that perfect action shot. Even with a burst mode it is difficult to capture that one special moment. Keep your camera handy and your eyes open for a photo opportunity.

If you carry your camera with you all the time, you can find inspiration in most unlikely places. Like flowers by the road, tattered road signs etc. But my most favorite place to take pictures of would be Washington DC and Central Park in New York. I love taking pictures of statues and buildings. One time I went to Austin and had an opportunity to take photos of doors...yes, doors. There were just a lot of really "photogenic" doors in Austin! LOL!
