How long should you wait after a c-section to have another baby ?

I had a c-section for my first baby and I waited about 16 months before I was pregnant for the second one. I think a good time is between 16 months to 2 years. As I was feeling ok and quite confident about my second pregnancy. And even though I was supposed to have an elective c-section I ended up having my baby naturaly one day before the schedule c- section date. All the best for you and your nine months old...xx

i never had a csection but i have 4 kids. my kids are 10 yrs old, 4 yrs old, 2 yrs old and 16 months old. there is 6 yrs between #1 and #2, 19 months between #2 and #3 and 14 months between #3 and #4. if you were to get pregnant next month, when you baby is 10 months old, you would have another baby when your child is 19 months old. that is a great spacing range.

Both pregnancies were c-sections for me. My kids are 2 1/2 years apart. Single baby then twins.

I had a c section it was a difficult time because I had preeclamspia and she was born early. I won't have another child yet it has been 15 months and I am not ready yet. Maybe given another year or so I may be ready for another child then but, it is still too painful for me emotionally and I am not ready yet.

I had all boys wanted a girl after the first boy never got a daughter the last one I had a c-section and I quit at 4 sons all the other were normal child birth

ouch! i also had a c section 18 months ago i have fully recovered now and my body could probably handle another pregnancy but noway am i doing that again lol. i think around the 18 month mark would be ok as your body has fully recovered.
