I ask this becasue I have posted a couple of discussions that didn't get any responses and I am wondering if it was becasue I possibly posted it under the wrong interest. Have you done this before? What did you do about it? Did you try posting it under another intrest that you felt would be more appropraite? I am just wondering if I should repost under the intrest that it would prolly be better under or should I just leave it alone? I think it would be an intersting discussion given the time to blossom and grow.

I can't speak about your friends ,but the tags help alot.If you aren't so sure about the words you add as tags ,do a search first at the words at mylot.Add words that easy to find by searching.

I have always tagged my discussions, and I always try to make keywords that pertain to the discussion so that it is easier to find. I do web design from home So I have some experience in doing keywords lol. Thank you for the suggestion though, a lot of people prolly don't understand how to use keywords to help them.

Thank you for sharing. I know it will. It's just going to take some time. And time is something I definatly have lol. I am not too concerned about it, I was wondering more if it was that I put them in the wrong place. I haven't had very many that didn't get at least one response. I figured that it just didn't interest anyone on my friends list, or anyone in that intrest group. I am going to start being more selective on where I start a discussion from now on lol.

I also had few discussions that I've started with no responses but I just thought it's normal so I change my topic into the simplest form so mylot members could very well respond to it. And it helps. Just go on with the flow and just make up for the other subjects.

I don't post a whole lot, but when i do it is usually something that has been on my mind for a while so something that has been bugging me. I try to stay away from making trivial posts. Since starting this discussion i have found that the interest you put the discussion in is the most improtant part of creating discussions.

About 15-20 of my discussions have no replies!! Some of them are actually interesting ones and I wonder why I got no replies. I'm not very active here at mylot and hence maybe am not noticed!

I have been here for about a month and from my post count you can see how active I am lol. I comment more on my discussions than I actually post lol. I think the ones that I didn't get a big response to I put in the wrong catagory. There were a couple that would be really great discussions I think anyway lol.

I have posted a few with no response. One of them I re-posted under a new category and got a few responses the second time. The rest I just "let go".

How do you determine which ones to let go? Or do you just go on and not worry about them and just let them die out? DO you try again at a later date? Sorry if I am asking a lot of questions here lol I am just trying to decide wether or not to repost it.

Yes, I have had that same problem when I was new. I posted some discussions that I was sure would get responses and they never did. It has been awhile since I have had one with no reponses. Of course I have friends now that almost always respond to my discussions, were at the beginning I didn't have any friends.

I have friends on my friends list, but I guess my discussions with no responses don't interest them. I would rather people not respond to my discussions if they don't feel that they can add anything to them. On the other hand I don't think that the discussions that I have created that have no responses are that far out there that nothing could be added to them. So the only thing I can think of is that when I created them I put them in the wrong place. So I don't know if I should repost them or not.

I am new so I of course I am not sure which interest would be best to post a discussion under. I have started one discussion is all. It has gotten one response and it happened to be from one of the teo people I have on my friends list. Hopefully my experience on mylot will get better.

It will. It just takes some time. I have been here a little over a month and am still learning my way around lol. I wasn't very active when I first started it took me almost a month to hit 100 posts. I am slowly finding my niche here. You'll get there no worries. Welcome to myLot!
