When is the best time to go? When did you go?
Did you get your travel package from a travel agency? Were you satisfied with it?
Was your hotel clean and safe?
Please tell me any information you can think of about what I should know or do before going to Cuba? My husband and I are planning to go this winter.

i went cuba the last december. I went to La Habana 5 days and I stayed in Varadero 2 days.
the hotels are very clean and safe, you must do your reservation in your country to get a better prices. in cuba the prices are very low and you could get a dinner with only 10 dollars, so the budget is not problem.
you must take care with the water, drink only bottle water because is not clean the common water.
PLEASE you MUST not accept help to the people walk in the street they only want money. if you need help talk with the police or hotel workers.
the streets are very safes you don´t worried about bad people, the cuban people are very friendly but take care because they always want a little help (money)
the weather is very hot so you have to take fresh clothes.

the last thing, you have to take euros, because if you bring dollars, the exchange gives you a penalty to exchange the dollars, is better euros.
