My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. The other evening, I heard this awful noise, so I walked out onto my balcony and I saw this other cat had Kitty cornered. So, I went downstairs and I walked closer to them. The other cat eventually ran off. Kitty ran toward my apartment, and she ran right into Sadie, my neighbor's dog. I laughed so hard.. She jumped straight up into the air, and booked it up the steps. When I got back inside, lol.. She had hidden herself under my bed. It actually didn't take much to get her to come out, and when she did, she acted like nothing had happened. lol..
This isn't the first time that something like this has happened, but it's by far, the funniest. Do you have any funny stories about your pets? If so, I'd love to hear about them. =)

I have a 6mo. old kitten that came to me completely wild and very insecure. After a few months of loving and cuddling, he's started taming down. This morning, I saw him scurry into the spare room where he was kept till I could get him tamed down. I snuck up and peeked around the corner just when he was doing the same thing. I said 'boo Tigg' and he jumped 4' straight up, turned around in midair, and came down hightailing it to his old box. lol I fell down laughing so hard at him. He peeked out at me and saw I was laughing at him and gave me a clawless swat while he ran and jumped over me to scurry under the couch. By this point, I couldn't even breathe let alone call out to him so he had his fun picking on me while I was down and helpless, lol, the lil stinker. I'm sooooooooooo happy he came into our life and would never regret taking him in.

Thanks-just happened to have found your discussion and knew Tigg's story would fit perfect here. Thanks also for the B/R. :-)

If you have any idea about rabbits, you must appreciate that they are the funniest creature in this world, always afraid of any loud noise around them.
Years ago, it was midnight, when some water droplets came out of our water-tap, just a minor leakage problem, producing sounds like tip-tap-top at regular intervals.
My rabbits got curious and simply stood on their foot with ears pointing towards the source. The house was empty, so, it gave a haunted house like effect. It continued for hours and stopped dripping only after the storage water had finished.
Now whenever I think of this I just burst into laughter.

It's really a very interesting story! So many stories are there with our pets. My one is quite calm in nature and just finds his comfort under my bed.

Ohhh, rabbits.. lol.. I had a rabbit one time. His name was Whiskers, and he was a little stinker. He hated being in his cage, and when he wanted out, he would let me know by flipping his litterbox over and dumping the wood chips everyyyyyyywhere. I'd let him out for the day, and he'd go back in his cage to use the bathroom, but when I put him back in at night, he'd flip his litterbox again. It go to the point that I had to tie it down everytime I changed it so he couldn't flip it anymore.. lol.. He so didn't like that. He'd keep me up some nights by trying to flip it over. When he was out, though, he would chew up everyyyyyything, he especially loved newspaper and books. I left him out by mistake one day, when I went to work, and came home to find that he'd chewed his way through my space heater's cord.. I will never know if he got shocked or not. ..And the most hilarious story about him.. I had three cats at the time, along with Whiskers. One of the cats was, how should I say.. A bit mentally challenged. The cat was laying in the middle of the kitchen floor, and Whiskers hopped up to him and started doing.. Well, what rabbits do. The cat just laid there. I was like !!!!, and got him to stop. I realized the humor of the situation afterward. I didn't know which was worse, the confused bunny, or the cat just laying there..lol..

Cats can be so funny. Our kitty can be rather jumpy at times. It's like when she is doing something she knows she's not supposed to do. The other day she was looking into the trash can and when I moved she jumped clear across the room the way only a cat can jump. Then she just sat there acting like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. It was so funny to see. She also likes to get on top of the book shelf and look down lik snoopy does when he is being a vulture .

lol.. That's so funny, it reminds me of one of the cats that I had years ago. That's how he got his name, in fact. I was taking the trash out, and I"d set the bag next to the door, then I went back to the kitchen to put another trash bag into the trashcan. I looked toward the door, and he was sniffing around the bag, all curious.. The bag shifted and I swear, I have never seen a cat jump so high in my life. I thought I would die laughing. I petted him after that, but it was so funny. He was called Bouncer from then on, and he had a complex with dark colors...(He wouldn't go near them without being really, really wary..) Unfortunately, when my house burned down, I couldn't save him.. I just hope he's in a better place.

Oh that was really funny. lol...
Well my cat is very scared of lizards. One day I was searching for something in the kitchen closet, he was just a kitten then. He was sitting right beside me curiously looking at what I was doing. Suddenly this sweet little lizard came out of the closet and ran right at him. It ran right under his four legs. He got so scared that he jumped with all his four legs and and then ran away... lol... I guess this was the first time he ever saw a lizard but it was really funny seeing him jump that way. He is 5 yrs old now but I still laugh when I think about it.

Cute story!!! My funniest cat story happened a couple of years ago. Somehow a mouse got in the house and all 4 of my cats were terrified of it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It sure had us rolling on the floor laughing. Eventually, we decided to put the mouse outside where it couldn't terrorize the kitties.

our puppy always makes us extra happy whenever we come home. even if a member of the house is only out for a few minutes, she shows her happiness upon one's coming home. she jumps, she goes running around in circles, then jumps right at the lap of the one who has just come in. it is so nice to be felt so welcome home by a pet who looks so cute.

Awww, that's so sweet. =) Thank you for sharing your story.
When I was growing up, my dad had two Shar Pai boxers. And they would do the same thing...Seymore was HUGE, but it didn't matter, he'd jump into my lap anyway, and roll onto his back. He'd fall asleep like that. He was so afraid of thunder, though. He broke my bedroom door down one morning, when I was asleep, trying to get to me because it was storming and he was terrified.

aww thats cute! Sadie was my huskys name! she just passed sunday night...
funny story:
while my golden retriever was gonna come outside with me I would call her, and wait for her to come before I opened the door (we have a lot of cats and I dont want them to come out.) Well, I stood by the door waiting (the screen door was shut, glass door open) my dog came running up to me and right into the screen door. Her face went flat I swear! lol. she did this again, coming from outside to inside.

I think my cat is funny when he want to have my attention. In days when I'm very busy he does anything he can to have my attention. For example if I use an object he always tries to cover that object, if I read a book he stands over it ...if I'm using the computer and my cat wants to play he just climbs the table and he lays down my keyboard . It's very funny, I enjoy watching him try to have my attention and sometimes I leave the room after he "attacks" my things and the only thing left to do for him is to meow very loud.

lol.. Yes, my cat does that as well. I can't read a book without her plopping herself in my lap, over my book. I can't cook without her at my feet, or up on the counter trying to get my attention. When I'm on the computer, she jumps up and stretches herself across my arms and lap, she bats at everything on my desk, and she looks up at me and sticks her nose to my chin, to get my attention. She also likes to type, sometimes. lol.. This morning, I kept trying to turn over, and she would not let me.. I would move her so I could roll over, and she would lay back down and wouldn't let me.
