How many buddies do you have?

Hi Aali311. When the old system was in operation, I couldn't figure out what the buddies list was good for. When changes were made to myLot, I thought I better get with the program and get some buddies. I have thirty-eight buddies. Why? I don't know. The only advantage I can see is you can personally email your buddy directly. I don't see why that even matters. If you can say something to everyone, you shouldn't be saying it at all. I do find it easier to go to whoever you want to respond to though; instead of trying to search for topics that you're not sure what the tags are.

I have 3 buddies that's it ...... but no GFs want a GF online..... searching for a girl online

I guess it is now known as "friends list" since they changed it to that name with the update. I only had a few in the "buddy" times but about 50 now with the friends list. There were quite a lot more but then I found that many were not responding to my discussions, so I deleted them. The purpose is supposed to be that friends help each other, i.e. respond to each other's discussions but that doesn't happen in many instances. Some people have huge numbers of friends and there is no way that they can respond to the discussions started by all of them. Personally, I think that it is better to limit the number of friends and respond to their discussions. If any time is left after that, then just pick and choose which other ones you respond to. :)

I have about 36, The purpose is so you post in each others disscussions, Like i'm doing in yours :P

I have two friends right now, have not been on mylot for a while now.

I have 130 friends in my list and there isn't really a huge purpose to it. The only good thing is having emails sent to them when you create a new topic.

I have 20 buddies ...you are right I also dont see a purpose of them

i have quite a few, the purpose is the answer their questions and they can answer yours.

i have lots of them but there is only 1 with whom i share everything and she is my wife Who i think is my best buddy.

Unfortunately I dont have any so far, but I'm new here, so maybe soon I'll have some. However if there isn't a purpose for a buddy list I guess I dont care much LOL.

i have about 10 people on my buddy list...i put the people that start up discussions on there and mylot sends me an email when they post a question...this way i can respond to it faster...thats all i can think of purpose wise...
