Do you click the links on the left side of the page to answer discussions with no responses, and / or new user discussions? I think that this is an important part of being a member here. I know that we all have our mylot friends, and we all want to get to their discussions, but what about the new users? Don't they deserve to have their discussions read too? I remember being a new user and how it felt looking at my first discussion sitting there waiting for a response. I'm sure some of you have had the same experience. I am not saying that we should all click through pages and pages of these discussions, but if everyone just clicked on a few every day or two, or even once a week, it would really help some of these new users, and even some of the older users who still have discussions with no responses.

Yes, coz we might find things which is new and a bit interesting. There is no harm of reading and responding those discussions right? Beside, you'll earn for doing so.

Good for you. It is always a good idea to help other users out. I know that when I was new I was grateful for all of the help that I could get. I try to do the same for other members.

I go through the new discussions and the ones with no replies to see if there is anything good. I had no idea that there were pages and pages and pages of topics with no replies. I go to the very last page and some of them are 48 hours old. I usually try to post something to them especially if they are new members.

The first time I went through them I was shocked at the number of topics with no replies. It is sad that there are so many of them out there and nobody can find the time to respond to them all. Like I said, if everyone just responded to a couple of them every few days or once a week, or even just once in awhile when they got the chance, it might help break down that long list if only a little bit.

I can very well understand the anxiety of a new member and a member with no response. Hence everyday I go to that link and try to respond for couple of questions.

Good for you, I wish that more members would do the same. We all need to work together to help the new members get started.

Yes I always answer my friends list first but you can see I do answer others as well. I think like you everyone needs a start out there. I was new once too. I was also told that it's risky if the discussions get deleted and maybe that's why I lost my blue star twice and my rating does fluctuate, but nevertheless, I'm just trying to be a good myLotter, or at least the best I can be !!! Thank You

Good for you, but all you need to do is to be careful about which discussions you respond to. Just because they are a new user doesn't mean their discussions will be deleted. Just do not bother replying to the ones that violate the guidelines and you should be all right.

HI kelly60. I do. I just did although I didn't find any interesting topics today after page 3. I still am to my mind a new member and I have those moments when I just sit and respond to others' discussions while waiting for people to notice mine and respond. I still remember when I was new here. I felt lost and just cruise around discussions for days trying to get a feel of the site. Pretty overwhelming. Thanks and have agreat day!

I am glad to see that at least some of us do. I felt lost when I first came here too, and would have loved to have a few members take an interest in one or two of my first discussions.
