If the interviewer said....

After your interview, if the interviewer said "We will give you a call.", would you expect them to call? or you knew that you failed the interview?
For me, I know I failed the interview if they would said that. And I will never expect a call from them.

Well, as for me if an interviewer tells me that they will just give me a call, i will not expect anything, instead i will pursue on giving my application to other companies. But there are times that the interviewer tell to the applicant to give a call because they are still on the process of selecting the best. So, i guess it is just a 50-50 chances weather you had passed the interview or not.
