there are actually people out there that stays in the bathroom for almost an hour taking a bath. i have this housemate, it usually take 45 minutes to 1 hours before shes dont taking a bath. and im wondering what she is doing there. in fact, in the morning, we are all rushing to take a bath before she does because if she goes in ahead of us, we will all be late to work. and its really annoying, even in the evening when she only takes half bath she said...its also takes almost an hour. because i usually take 5 to 10 minutes only in taking a bath, i dont spend a lot of time in the bathroom, considering we dont have bath tub so i wont be able to do bubble bath, unlike when im in a hotel. how to you feel when you have housemates are like that?

it depends, if im in a hurry then it will take 10-15 minutes for me to take a bath.. but if i have the time to relax in the bathroom then i'll take a bath for 15-30 minutes or sometimes longer if i wanna do body and foot scrub lol, i like using body scubs especially the lavander scent ;) sometimes i use hot oil which keeps me longer in the bathroom but that is only when i know that nobody is going to use the bathroom after me.. but if that happens to me when a housemate take too long in the bathroom and i need to take a bath and in a hurry then i'll ask her nicely to consider, i think a housemate will understand.. :)

thats right! if you dont have olive oil ( since olive oil is a little expensive.) you can go for any ordinary oil..still gives us the same results.

Well if taking a shower, its about 15-20 (max) for my shower. Thats with shaving. If I am taking a bath though its a bit longer...probably a half hour to maybe 45 minutes. Plus thats with taking a shower after my bath to get off the soap...etc

I have house mates like that and sometimes I spend a great deal of time in the shower. I have spent as much as half an hour in the shower for taking these long "luxurious" baths and I wonder why the water bill gets so high! When my house mates do it, it doesn't bother me unless I have to take a shower knowing that I need to be somewhere and they're being inconsiderate staying in there unaware of time passing them by.

i will take not much time for bath because bath is only thing id clean your body and not for any time pass of course if you have a enough time and no other work to do you can take time but i never taken time more then 10 minutes. if you have water problem then it is waste of water if you take more time for bath.

There are 5 people in my family but 3 of them are children. My oldest daughter prefers to take showers and the younger two daughters still need me to help them with the bath so I can control the amount of time they spend there. I ususally let them play for about 30 minutes before soaping them up so it takes about 45 minutes total. I normally take showers when I am in a hurry but once in a while my hubby watches the kids so I can have a relaxing bath. We have a big old fashioned clawfoot bathtub that you can fill up with water so it reaches your neck. I love to lay in there and just relax! Unfortunately it does not happen often.

In a nice hot bath, I tend to fall asleep, lol,so it takes me longer than I'd like or anyone else in the house, but yeah I wake up pruny so it's probably a while.Due to chronic ailments I can never keep my body temperature very stable, so the hot water relaxes me so muc because my bodies not fighting with itself to stay uniformly warm, its being done for it, it's just mega-relaxing. I always have to apologize!

It doesn't take me a long time to take a bath. Maybe 10-15 minutes because I shave and wash my hair and everything. I have to hurry though because my son (he's almost a year old) will come in there and throw stuff in the bathtub. I don't have any roomates, it's only my husband, our son, and myself and we have two bathrooms so I don't ever have to worry about somebody getting in there before I do.

If I take a bath it is usually for relaxation. I have candles, bubble bath, and sometimes a book. Yes, I am in the tub for at least an hour. It is my time to unwind and I enjoy it. I don't get to do it very often being a single mom, so when I get the chance I take it for all it's worth. My sister thinks nothing of spending 2 hours in the tub doing the same thing. She even will take a book with her. Now my mom takes a quick bath. In, get clean and out. Every person is different and baths vary with each individual.

Well,is a bad habit to stay in the bathroom for more than 15mins.As you can see the world is so currupt this days,i wounder what she could be,wether a mastorbetor or a lesbialist. My Sister, only God knows what she is doing in the bathroom for up to 1 hur, but you should try by doing your best to deprive her of that ok for is a bad thing and she is still young to be old. Finally, the dicission layes with you ,if you want to help her to stop it I believe you can. So spoil the rod and spear the child.Anthonyreal fron nigeria.thanks.

I think it all depends on whether i have the time to take a long one. I just take a 15-20 mins shower if i'm busy, but i will take a bath (sitting & relaxing in the bath tub) for almost an hour. Sometimes taking long baths is good for me, so i have time to relax a bit. If there's no bath tub, I think it is still fine to enjoy a long shower. Bathing is a relaxing activity anyways.

I don't take baths. I take showers. I will spend 20 minutes taking a shower, because there's only 1 bathroom and there are other people living here.I used to take baths. When I purchase my own home, I'll start enjoying baths again.

I think that we should respect them, maybe its their favorite past time...... but... its our responsibility to tell them that they are not the only one that will use the bathroom

i wish they listen when you tell them about it. whats sad is that, they just laugh at it and said, what can she do, she's used to it already!
