Ok here's my deal I am having someone look into my daughter's records to see if their was a mistake made during labor. If there is I might consider suing.
Since then other departments of the hospital have been doing a pretty good job with her conditions(one kidney, mild cerebral palsy, epilepsy, delevopmental delay)
So anyone got any thoughts on this? If you sue can you nolonger use the other departments?

I am not sure, but even if you have to change doctors, do it. If it is their fault, get it. You will need it and will make it easier to get what she needs in the long run.

Thank you this has been a very long time coming,I don't agree with alot of things some departments have done and it just makes me worried. I know my daughter is going to need a lot of help when she grows up I just want to make sure she is taken care of if something should happen to me and my husband.

For me the question would be.....do you want to continue to use this hospital, if you truly believe that their staff compromised your daughter's health?
In many hospitals, staff ends up being circulated from one department to another...do you see the risk?
For me personally, if I felt the need for somebody to look into my child's medical records.....then I would feel no "sense of security" in taking my child back to that facility. I would have to find another hospital.
From the description of your daughter's health, I do not see how they could be responsible for all of it...although they may hold responsibilty for some of it. I hope that your daughter continues to grow well and maintains her health..she will be in my prayers. I have a nephew with cerebral palsy and he does fairly well, he is able to hold a job and graduated from high school last year.
I am not sure about the legalities of using the same hospital after suing them. Sorry that I could not be more helpful, my friend...I hope it works out for you.

I see your point and thank you,all of you insight is helpful. I do belive they messed up my due date which could be the reason she had a bowel movement before birth and then swollowed it,then when she was born she wasn't breathing which caused seizures and possibly the c.p.
I am lost a little the nuero, and nuerphology departments have done a fairly good job with her I just don't think the obgyn department I went through did. but I will continue to look into it and pray over it too seek guidance.
Thank you my friend.
