I miss being able to do a back bend and a cartwheel.

I would say I miss all the pool parties, and I miss having lots of "best friends." It was a lot easier to talk to people back then - it seems I got shyer and less assertive as I got older... I sort of miss the "spunk" and outgoingness" on one level (though not on others).

When you are little you don't worry about material things, where daddy is working, is mommy working, what kind of car do you have?? It was, what COLOR car do you have? When we were little we didn't know our p's and q's now that we are older we have to watch them all the time. ;)

I miss being able to do a carwheel too. If I tried it now, I'd break my neck! But the thing I miss most is the innocence we had. Even if our childhood was rough, we all had some sort of unjaded outlook. I mean, when my parents used to say, it will all be OK, I believed them. Now, they can say it all they want, but it doesn't erase the doubts like it did when I was a child.

Parents have that magical power to fix everything, a boo-boo, to a broken balloon. Yea I miss the innocence too. Ignorance is bliss.

The one thing I miss the most being a child is not having to worry about the bills, kids and having a lot of free time for myself =) Happy posting Stacy
