I can use almost any kind of shampoo as long as I have a good conditioner and a hair treatment. I usually get an allergy friendly (no perfume) shampoo, and then I prefer to use Herbal Essence of Pantene Pro V conditioner and hair treatment.

Personally, I like Frederick Fekkai's shampoo! It smells like bubble gum (too sweet *laughs*) and it softens hair really well. I perm my hair once a year and my hair is long. After perming my hair, usually it's very dry. I use Frederick's shampoo and it softens my hair without weighing it down, it adds back the shine too and I love it very much. Because my hair is naturally dry, I use deep conditioner once a week to let it sit on hair for at least 2 hours before washing off, I do notice the difference after 2-3 weeks, they are much more lively!

I am currently using pantene. But I frequently hange my brand of shampoo because I read in a study before that we should shift brands of shampoos every threee months to wash away the chemicals that the old shampoo left on our scalp. It is sadi that if we use the same brand for a very long time, then the chemicals will pile up, in effect it will lead to dandruff. I don't know if this is true, but after knowing this I change shampoo brands twice a year to be safe.
