Is asp.net better than ajax??

is ajax slower than asp.net ?? is it better to use ajax ??

ASP .NET is a server side technology. Ajax is a client side technology that interact with server with refreshing the page. Ajax is used to create more friendly and interactive web pages. You should use them both because Ajax without a server-side language such as ASP .NET or PHP can't do a lot, it's limited.

ya. AJAX is a complement technology to asp.net, php, jsp. It improves the responsiveness of the web pages developed with any technology.
